Cancellation & Refunds
At RareBook India, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. We understand that sometimes plans change or issues arise, so we've created a fair and transparent cancellation and refund policy.
Order Cancellation
- You can cancel your order before it is shipped without any charges.
- To cancel an order, please contact us immediately at rarebookindia@gmail.com with your order number.
- Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be canceled but may be eligible for return (see Refund Policy below).
Note: During peak seasons or special promotions, processing times may be faster, so please request cancellations as soon as possible.
Refund Policy
- You may request a refund within 7 days of receiving your order if:
- The book is damaged or defective
- The wrong book was sent
- The book doesn't match its description
- To initiate a refund, email us at rarebookindia@gmail.com with:
- Your order number
- Photos of the damaged/incorrect book
- A brief explanation of the issue
- Once we receive and inspect the returned book, we will process your refund within 5-7 business days.
Return Process
- For approved returns, we will provide you with return shipping instructions.
- You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (wrong book sent, damaged book, etc.).
- Books must be returned in their original condition and packaging.
- Once we receive the returned book and verify its condition, we will process your refund.
Non-Refundable Items
- Books that show signs of use or damage after delivery
- Books returned after 7 days from delivery
- Books with missing components (CDs, access codes, etc.) if originally included
- Custom or personalized orders
Refund Methods
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
- For cash on delivery orders, refunds will be processed via bank transfer. Please provide your bank details when requesting a refund.
- Refund processing times depend on your bank or payment provider, but typically take 3-7 business days after we approve your refund.
Late or Missing Refunds
- If you haven't received your refund after the expected time, first check with your bank.
- Then contact us at rarebookindia@gmail.com with your order details.
- We will investigate and provide you with an update on the status of your refund.
